What are the benefits of colonics?

What is a colonic session like?
A session is a comfortable experience for most people. A therapist is available to explain the process and ensure you are comfortable. If you experience discomfort, the session can be stopped at any time.
A disposable nozzle is inserted into the rectum, and warm, purified water is introduced to stimulate natural bowel movements. The session is not painful, messy, or smelly.
The session can last anywhere from 20-45 minutes depending on how the client feels. Sometimes it’s necessary to disconnect the client and send them to the bathroom to finish the session. This is determined by the therapist.
At the end of the session, you have time to empty any remaining water, etc. in the bathroom. This way, once you feel “finished”, you can carry on your day as usual without accidents.
What type of equipment do you use?
We use FDA-registered colonic machines. We have two types: an open system and a closed system. Both achieve the same results — hydrating your colon to help remove waste.
We maintain the highest levels of sanitation and disinfection across our colonic rooms, machines, and centers. We use disposable nozzles and speculums for every session and never reuse.
Open system (LIBBE)
You lay on your back the entire time. A small disposable nozzle introduces water to your colon. The water fills by gravity — once your colon is full, it stops until you release. You can see what's being released through a view tube.
Our therapist helps you get set up and is available during the session. We can also give you privacy if you prefer.
The open system works best for chronic constipation and when there's a lot of bulk. The view tube is large enough to handle significant amounts of waste.
Closed system (Aquanet & Dotolo)
You start on your side and may be turned onto your back during the session. A disposable nozzle introduces water to your colon. You can see what's being released through a view tube.
Our therapist controls the water pressure throughout the session. During the session, you may need to use the bathroom to release, then return to the table. Our therapist guides the timing.
Is it true that colonics take away good bacteria from the colon?
Colonics remove everything from your system, the bad bacteria, waste, and yes, the good bacteria too.
Here's why that matters: we bring your good bacteria back. Right after your session, we give you probiotics (good bacteria). We recommend making probiotics a permanent part of your routine so you keep getting all their benefits.
